One for the North Western aficionados?

Hi guys,.. it’s freezing and the rivers are over the banks again so I’ve spent a bit of time trying to find some info on a favourite rod that I’ve had since I brought it from a work mate some 30 odd years ago,…. ( retirements such a wonderful thing!)
The rod is an 11’ Rodcraft North Western feeder ,.. 3 piece, ( detachable butt) stand-off eyes,.. incredibly light weight.
It’s a joy to use for chub and roach ( I had my pb chub on it with breadflake feeder) and it’s also coped with a few unintentional decent barbel.
I’m wondering if it’s from the NW kevlite stable?
I’ve trolled through some NW history but still not sure what caused their demise apart from competition from more aggressive brands.
Back in the early 80’s I built a lot of glass rods on NW blanks that I sourced from Trev Moss ,… I often look at the old price lists out of nostalgia and have still kept a few SS5’s, and ss7’s for sentimental reasons although they gather dust.
Anyway,… the feeder is a rod I still use and love and would be grateful for any back story from some of you that know all about these things.😁

This guy on eBay sells a lot of north western blanks, including the one you have, maybe you can drop him a message and ask about the blank?
