last season i produced a boilie/paste mix that worked ok, however the main flavour that i used (a pure concentrate of a natural substance) is very, very strong, and at a certain very low level went from a very, very subtle smell to a very pungent smell in the finished bait, from a 1ml increment...
i went with the lower level, but is there an ingredient that would "smooth" the main flavour in the mix? My base mix is fish/meat meal based and with both fish and meat based liquid foods. As i've essentially got a very savoury bait, would the inclusion of a creamy/sweet ingredient/stimulant or similar take the edge off the main flavour? If so, any suggestions?
just thought i'd ask (and probably bore everyone!) before i wreck the kitchen and spend hours chasing my tail.
