Yes good luck everyone! at last the 16th is with us I think it has been a bit fractious on here of late and thank god it has arrived , l hope you all have a great season.

I can't remember the last time I fished on the 16th. I can remember when I did make the effort in my younger days it was generally a bit of an anti-climax.

I had the misfortune to cut my thumb on Friday night, resulting in surgery and a weekend in hospital, so my close season has been extended by a further 2 weeks, and cancelling next week's long weekend down the Wye has left me totally pee'd off:(
