Okuma reels

I have an Okuma undertaker reel which I have had for about 4 years. I have always been very pleased with it and never had a problem,until last night when the pin that holds the handle on to the spindle came adrift and became unusable. I took them at there word regarding 5 year warranty and phoned up their service dept in Cardiff explained the problem they took my details and told me that they would put a new handle in the post at no charge. I must admit I am very impressed with the way they dealt with the problem and thought it worthy of a post on here.

Depends on who you get hold off. Svendsen sports replaced some faulty waders and even upgraded them - absolutely fantastic. When it came to replacing a rucksack, the opposite, absolutely dreadful and had to write to Head Office Denmark to get anything done.

Only ever had good experiences with them when needing parts that I have lost/dropped in the river due to my own dopey actions.
