Nut based boilies

Hi, with most bait companys now doing there own take on nut based mixes ie tiger nuts peanuts etc do you think they would be as effective for Barbel as they are for carp ?
 
Hi Chris, I'd say give anything a try as barbel aren't too picky when it comes to baits. Ringing the changes in your approach as to what baits you use could give you an edge and land you more fish than just using the same old baits as everyone else. I believe that fish can become weary of the same old bait that everyone else uses so trying to think outside of the box will in my mind make you a better angler. Good luck with trying something different and please let us know how you get on.
