I very recently bought one only to find that one of the spring loaded chair legs locked up in the open position and no amount of persuasion would get it to retract!!. Has any one else got one of these?, anyone heard of any issues?. Obviously mine is being returned asap used it twice and only two weeks old.

The release mechs on all Solar SP CTech chairs/bedchairs are pretty violent; especially when new. Press the release arm and try a gentle tap on the adj foot with a rubber mallet first - this can push them back in on a lot of occasions. Also make sure you hold onto the adjustable foot when releasing in future to negate the violence of release (don't release them into thin air - they're designed to hit a surface to level up the chair) - this can alleviate them locking up in future. Make sure you clean the legs periodically - grit and general sh*t can affect the inner . . .

Good product - just needs a knack to looking after it!
