Never happy......

Hi all.Been up to my eyes in it recently, never been as busy since I retired.Treated myself to a days fishing on a heavily stocked busy club fishery.Chose to fish a reed fringed corner of the lake as far away from the car park as possible.Simple waggler set up alongside the marginal reeds, small cubes of luncheon meat as bait.
Dont need to tell anyone how hot it was.Started catching from the off, small stockies, skimmers and ide averaging 3 to 4 fish an hour, was happy to be sat in the sunshine watching a float constantly twitching and dipping.Mid afternoon the larger carp moved in and it went silly, lost count of the number of fish I landed between 4 to 8lb +,all after terrific fights on 6lb line.Ended up literally with a fish a cast.Packed up early while still catching,it was becoming a bit boring to be honest,I'll have to remember that when blanking in June.Stay safe all.
