Need a venue...........please!!!

Need a bit of help please guys. I`ll be in Northampton on Saturday as Tracy is visiting friends so I`m looking to have a day on a local venue. I`d much rather be on a river than a lake (already done Pitsford twice!) so can anyone point me in the right direction as to somewhere to go for the day???
