Nash Bullet Line Discontinued?

Nicholas Cole

My local shop (Fosters of Birmingham) tells me that Nash has discontinued its Bullet mono. Pity as I've used it for years (yes, I know that not everyone likes it but line is personal thing).

Thought anyone who uses it might want advance warning that its getting very hard to find.

dont panic, same stuff will be out next season under a different name and a hugely inflated price too !!!!

I almost liked the stuff, a no nonsense, cheap and cheerful, tough workhorse of a line. OK, it was a bit on the thick side, but it had good abrasion resistance, and not too bad on the memory front.

Mind you, I only used it for one season, 'cos there are a lot of better lines out there...at a price :D Having said that, the price of the bullet line had crept steadily up, so it wasn't that cheap in the end:rolleyes:

I found the Bullet braid very good, but again relatively thick...problem there is you can't have thin sinking braid...and you do NOT want floating braid while slack-lining for carp...it ends up looking like a line full of dirty washing laying along the surface :D I wonder if that is being discontinued as well? (The braid I mean, not the dirty washing, lol.)

Cheers, Dave.
