Just wondering if anyone uses liquid molasses in anything i.e pellet feeder mix or as a bait glug i have some sat doing nothing and thought i could put it to good use thanks Alan.:)

Not personally but have in the past. Go for it, certainly won't hurt.

I'm using csl at the moment but another one to look at is Fish sauce in the oriental shops, dead cheap too...

True John....but then there is nothing Mr. Bream likes better than pellets, and we use shed loads of them :D

Mind you....I guess the combination of his two favourite goddies may turn Mr. Bream into your worst nightmare :p

Cheers, Dave.

Cannot agree more with John & David. I have had some great sessions with g-bait laced with molasses but in general molasses is a bream magnet. However, fight the way through the bream & the barbel will follow.

I stopped using this on my forth session leaving this out, still get bream but no where near as many. I have 4.6 litres sitting in the garage which will be composted soon.

Buy from an agricultural store - 'NAF' I think is the manufacture (as well as many other good equestrian ground bait products) at a fraction of the price of fishing tackle shops.

Cheers, Jon
