Hi guys.
Was going to treat myself as a result of a rank promotion.
Can I have some feedback on these rods. Been offered a new pair cheep.

Also what reals to link up with them.
 
Hi Ian, these are great rods, I have a 1.75 and a 2.25. They have a very nice action even though they don't have many rings. They are nice and light to hold with plenty of power if you need it. Reels: my Diawa Regal 4050 fits well but I imagine any medium sized reel would fit. The only minor niggle is the lack of a hook keeper ring, but you could always add that yourself. They are great rods, highly recommended.

Second what Pete said, have the 1.75 and also the big river 2.25 n I love them.
Use shimano 5000re on mine or Daiwa ss2600. Easily throw 4oz feeders across the wye and Taff on the 1.75.
Buy them you won't regret it
 
Quality rods definitely recommend them. I use daiwa ss2600 with mine and makes a nicely balanced set up.

I do know someone with one of these he’s had about a year and the ceramic portion of the eyes keep popping out, he’s even tried super gluing them. His belief is that it’s because the bottom section only has one eye there’s too much pressure... that’s the eye that normally comes out.
Maybe it’s a Friday afternoon one but for what isn’t a cheap rod it’s quite disappointing.
