Mark Tunley MK1 - 11½ ft Specialist Multi Tip with all 4 tips

Used a couple of times but not personally a rod for me due to the type of fishing I do. It is very well built and a lovely piece of kit.

1oz - 2oz ( 30g - 60g ) high speed casting weight

True Multi Tip
Very high quality 40T hollow tips; and super reliable solid carbon quiver tips made with the "magic" section I designed that gives a seamless curve never previously achieved by anyone else to my knowledge.


Quiver Tip 1oz
Painted quiver tip that works well with 1oz ( 30g ) leads or feeders
( this is the unloaded feeder weight )

Quiver Tip 1½oz
Painted quiver tip that works well with 1½oz ( 45g ) leads or feeders
( this is the unloaded feeder weight )

Specialist River Tip ( 1¼lb TC )
Painted Specialist River tip that works well with up to 2oz ( 60g ) leads or feeders
( this is the unloaded feeder weights )

Specialist Lake Tip ( 1½lb TC )
Specialist Lake tip that works well with up to 2oz ( 60g ) leads or feeders ( this is the unloaded feeder weights ) whilst using the rod on "buzzers" awaiting a screaming run.

This rod sounds perfect for what you were looking for to replace the chimera. Why sell it?
 
Tbh your may well be right I tend to use a pair so it’s something I should think some more about
 
Must confess that advancing years, and too many problems of late when running two rods where the carp are extremely lively and powerful that beginning to think one rod may be the way to go in future. I think this rod is perhaps the ideal tool for me. Amazed not snapped up.
