March for Clean Water in London is a one-off event organised by River Action to petition the government for clean water throughout the UK.

Good to see 140 different organisations (including the Angling Trust) working together for healthier water.

I went and ended up marching with my banner up the front end near the drummers. A really positive very well organised experience and I caught up with people I had not seen for years. So many groups from all sorts of areas and backgrounds pulling together. Being near the front I was very concerned there were not many attendees when the march started. It was only when the cameras started scanning round on the big screen during the speeches I realised there were thousands of us. Some good speeches and a very positive vibe from everyone. Sad to see the majority on the march were probably 60 plus though with very few youngsters.
