I have several sets of scales including 3 of these and the set I’m selling is my cleanest set being in almost brand new condition. You’ll struggle to find a set as internally or externally as good and as clean as these.
Very very minor storage marks only which you have to really look for to find. They would pass as almost brand new.
Incredibly accurate, I’ve validated them myself with calibrated weights that we had at work and also compared them directly with the scales at our local post office. Use in complete confidence. No corrosion or marks or damage whatsoever they just don’t get used and haven’t been used much at all.
Mk111 avons i believe they are. Which is the best simplest set to own because 1 rotation is exactly 10lb and it will max out at 40lb in 1oz increments. So unless you fish for big carp or cats these are going to completely forfill your needs.
Do not confuse them with the rough sets you see on eBay or face book. These are nothing like those and my price reflects that
Comes with genuine Avon scale case which again is not damaged in any way just a little wear to the letters in gold from handling
The case is the better of what options were available at the time as it’s double pouched so you can fit a light sling in there too.
Price is firm at £60 posted.
yes Expensive compared to the well abused rubbish often for sale on eBay but cheap for a set of uk made 30 plus year old precision instruments that are in near mint hardly used condition.
