Llangrannog area, Cardigan Bay

Off to near Llangrannog next week. I usually put a spinning rod in for any chances of a dabble. Has anyone any knowledge/experience of this area of the Welsh coast? Is it worth my while?

Plenty of mackerel off the rocks if the weather is settled. Used to be some lovely bass along the coast and in the estuaries, but they're pretty rare now. Chuck a 2 to 3 inch or so Toby-type spoon as far as you can then crank it back with varying retrieves. Used to take half a dozen or so for breakfast / lunch for me and my girlfriend and any visitors we had, pretty easily, years ago.

Thanks, I can assemble that stuff easily enough. I will hopefully report culinary success. Gooseberries are ripe too.
