Line for speedia

Steven Ballard

Hi all, this will be my first season using a wide drum speedia for barbel.
I have used a narrow for trotting for a while, but what I want advice on is what line and how much to put onto my wide drum?
Should I go for what I put on my fixed spools- 10lb big game, or something more supple like the new Drennan supplex in 10lb?
Cheers guys

After looking at the suplex Wednesday I'm thinking if loading my specials with it and a allcocks 3 3/4" popular, probably 4lb on the spedias and 8 on the alcocks with 10 on my other modern pins. Feels really good
