line and hook size

what size line and hooks are you using for your float fishing and ledgering on all types of streams and rivers big and small.

ive seen videos of people using 10lb+ for barbel on small rivers

so what size line do i need for float fishing for barbel (when the season starts)

Nothing wrong with 10lb Daz if your laying on.

Ledgering wise i use minimum 16lb fluoro, connected to a size 9 Hook, for the Trent. Float fishing would be 8lb trilene maxxx.
