Letton Court river Wye

Going to Letton Court to fish the river with a couple of mates end of August, just wondered if anyone on here has fished it.

Fished it a few times Mark, Beat 1 on the upstream end is shallower and faster flowing over gravel, beat 2 in the middle is slower water and quite overgrown, not much access to swims, beat 3 on the lower end is still steadier water but more swims cut out, easier access. you can park behind your swim, have caught from both beats 1 and 3, usual Wye tactics. Haven't fished beat 2. its a lovely place, not as prolific as some stretches I know but has some nice fish. Red Lion fishery has the opposite bank.

Thanks for the reply, as I have never fished the Wye is it open end feeder and pellet or maggots.

Mark, Id say too early in the season for maggot, too many silver fish to get through. I float fish pellet and meat and if on feeder in summer I just use a black cap feeder with 3 and 4mm pellets and vary the size of pellets on the hair from single 4mm up to double elipse. If fish are feeding works for me, harder it is the smaller bait I use personally.
