Leaky waders

Hi All - I have a pair of Shakespeare breathable chest waders and which, unfortunately, have sprung a leak around the crotch area. Having investigated it seems the taped (on the inside seam) has is loose. Rather than forking out on a new pair, can anyone suggest how I might go about repairing them? I think the material is nylon but not 100% sure. There's a photo in the link, for further insight......
