korum anti eject rig sleeves

Anybody using these? what do you think??
Ive bought the small size to use with korum size12 hook and when placed on the hook they look abit long and strange? The question is do you trim the length down ? or does it not matter ?

I tend to trim mine down slightly... though i have used them straight from the packet... sometimes i just use a bit of superglue instead, does a similar thing?
