hi all, ive just aquired one the above & wondered if any of you have used or know much about them. i have read the bumff, but a bit of proper used info is always best. i am going to use it on the teme & kennet etc.

Had one for the Teme before i bought two of Mr Gill's finest, not a bad rod and did what i wanted of it. Should of kept it as i'm always worried about go ass over tit when on the Teme and killing one of my Torrix's.
 
Yes you could have used the butt section for a walking stick:eek:
 
jez, got it my brother from his prize that time. he just gave it me for no reason n wouldnt take no for an answer.............................brucie.

Ive got £12 here!!! yes i will use the rod for some piking with you...
 
I have Jez's old 3G. Intended for use on the Teme, but I never seem to fish there. I've used it a few times elsewhere though, banked a few barbel on it and it's been fine, a perfectly usable barbel rod. It didn't cost me a lot and it's ideal for when you are bashing your way to overgrown swims without worrying to much about damaging it.

Edit: I didn't mean using the rod itself to do the bashing, lol!
 
That old 11ft 3G also made a great Carp Stalking rod ,and was very strong .

The new series of rods are a bit more subtle with Doc Garners input,whilst he was with Korum.
