knowle sands bridge j.thompson fishing?

theres a nice stretch right by the knowle sands bridge easy access and the only thing i can find is a sign saying j.thompson private fishing ive searched all over the net and cant find anythink! anyone have any info about this club?

John Thompson steelworks closed down 10years ago.
I believed the stretch you're referring to is now Brum Anglers : Birmingham Anglers Association :: Knowle Sands

It's not Terry. It's the next meadow up from the top end of BAA Knowle Sands (above the island). Had a good Google for it once myself, drew a blank.

Suspect one of the Bridgnorth residents may know.
