Just been sent this picture 8pm but it's ok for bailiffs to still be there after midnight

As far as i know its 8 till 8 if you buy the cheap season ticket through the barbel society and 4 till 10 if you buy the full price ticket. There should be more info on the kings weir website.

Called Barbra regarding this sigh she clearly knew nothing about this as she asked another chap to talk to me when I asked him where this rule was written he said the society know about it and this rule has always been in place I said well I have been a member and have never seen this sign before it wasn't there yesterday and it wasn't there last season and let's be honest they can't say it must have been removed as there are signs up that are that old I recon they where put up in the days when Fred crouch was fishing there

The top and bottom of this is 90% of the members are bailiffs and probably get there ticket for free this in turn gives them the right to fish when they like until as late as they like and is no good saying they don't because I've seen them coming out of the place well after midnight when I've been on the lea pit and don't want genuine paying members taking up swims that they want to get in to be honest if I was you get yourself over fishers green where everyone is equal you all start and finish fishing at the same time and don't get collard by a bailiff as soon as you get in the car park and agin when you get to a swim and so on by most people that walk past you as like I said before 90% of the people that enter the gate are a bailiff. The moral to all this give the place a wide berth we just ain't in there click

Think your probably right Darren. Kings weir used to be a top place to fish and no dodgy bailiffs but now there as bent as a nine Bob note. Maybe there watches have stopped because a few of my pals on the railway and lea pit and have all seen the bailiffs coming away from kings weir well after midnight.

I fished last season, taking advantage of the offer to fish the members section for 12 hours a day for the price of a key. The weir itself still has the day ticket rates and times though. A wonderful venue at a bargain price. I really don't mind what others do whether they're members or bailiffs, a fiver to fish there is a bargain for society members. There was a sign on the right hand side of the locked gate with both barbel society and members times, was well weathered last season but perfectly legible.

I suppose for the price of b.s. membership it's not too bad .what the kings weir owners are trying to avoid is everyone joining the b.s. and fishing it for a fiver so they have to give an incentive for people to pay the full price.anyway 8-8pm isn't that bad in the winter.it fishes better then anyway.
