Hi Alan
Yes you are correct I do have a Browning Revolver which I am a bit hesitant to sell.
It's a lovely reel and in it's original wooden box. I only used it a couple of times and then went on to use my
collection of J. W. Youngs Bob James reels ( I have 4 of them).
However I did manage to lose the logo sticker on the back plate (they were only glued on) and was hoping to find a replacement but Garry Mills couldn't help me with that.
It also has two very tiny marks to the finish which are almost unnoticeable.
I will have a serious think about selling it .
In the meantime if anyone has any thoughts as to where I can get a replacement sticker I would be most grateful.

Mike, can you tell me if you bought the reel brand new and unused or was it second hand when you got it?
The unnoticeable marks, are they on the rim of the spool where you control the reel, can you feel them under your thumb as the spool rotates?
Also, can you tell me the number of the reel please?
Sorry for the questions, but you gott'a ask 'em 👍.

Hi Ian
Re the Revolver I have had it for a long time but certainly within the last 20 years as I only really got into pins when I moved from Essex to be near the Avon, Stour and Test. This is one of two I have owned so not sure if it was my first or second purchase. I cannot remember if I bought it new or used as I have had at least 300 centrepins pass through my hands since then. That's why I find it so interesting when there are discussions on the Forum concerning other members views on pins.
The marks are very very slight and none on the spool rim.
I cannot find any paper work to go with it but unsure if any was originally included.
I was very upset in losing the logo sticker and as I stated earlier I would be very grateful if anyone can suggest how I can replace it
It is number 180.
Please be aware I have promised one of our forum members first option if I decide to sell.

Try Faf custom reels they do a lot of sticker work and may be able to help.

Thanks Daniel
Will try later as just off to The Test to do some trotting hopefully river won't be too high.
