I'm no matchman but as a Leicester lad was brought up on Ivan Marks and spent many a happy hour in Marks and Marlow and spent a load of money, all the ranges of floats then the Brennan and Hickman luggage etc but that was when I just started work and only had to pay a fiver board!

What a fisherman he was. He could catch fish that bloke there's been a memorial match for a few years held on the Welland one of which my uncle fished and came 5th out of 240 matchman was a brilliant day to pay respect to him.
