Interesting read on Avon diary

Just read a article by John levell on his Avon diary site re otters & fencing,I've just had my worse season ever fishing on the wasingestate and to top it all the estate have started erecting fencing around their lakes it looks like a prison and also puts more pressure on a already sorry river keeping the otter hunting in the river,I will not be renewing my ticket on wasing next season.
 
John does seem to be a bit like Marmite - as many hate him as love him. He certainly has some strongly held views but this is a well presented and very thought provoking piece on the potential outcome of increased otter fencing of stillwaters. Very thought provoking.
