In Need Of A Chair

I'm in need of a chair.

I've narrowed it down to either a nash Indulgence recliner or a JRC X Lite.

I don't like the korum chairs - I've tried them and got rid.

I'd like the JRC due to its weight and no nonsense approach (non reclining) but I'm unsure of its stability when the legs are extended as some chairs seem to have a leg wobble when the legs are out.

Does anyone have any experience of the JRC they could share?
 
Sorry Andy, not the answer you are looking for but Chub for me also...I use the Hi-Lite as I have dodgy knees and need the ground to be a bit further away !! I extend the legs on my Hi-Lite quite a way and find it very stable..[I'm a 15 stone lump]..and as Dan say's "light"...very little extra weight for the longer legs..:)

I have used the JRC specialist x lite (non recliner) for a few years, it’s well made and it can hold a heavy and tall lump like me, very light, comfortable and stable when the legs are extended.

Had the rear legs folded back against the banks of the Wye with front legs out.....I am sure you’re not meant too, but it was very stable.

I always do that as well on a sloping bank Adam.

I had a look at the new Indulgence ultra lite last week, fairly pricey but i liked the extra padding it offered when compared to the chub also has larger than normal mud feet which should stop it from sinking onto soft banks, i think I'l be having one come the start of the new season

Another vote for the JRC Specialist X Lite, I've had one 3 years, I think it has Terry Hearn branding on it, I remember it was one of the lightest chairs about when I bought it.

Solid quality chair, can have back legs down or up to lean it against the bank, infact it came with like little stick on feet to use when you folded the back legs up, so it's obviously designed to be used back legs up or down.

JRC make quality stuff and good prices IMO.
 
I have the chub lo, my freind has the jrc x ..... both good chairs, as stable as eachother. If you really wanted to nit pick, the jrc is a touch lighter and the chub is wider.... I personally find the jrc a little bit of a fiddle but that really is nit picking
 
I'm a 'Proper Lump' :D 19 1/2 stone ex rugby player, with a big butt and the Nash Indulgence Recliner does it for me ! Pukka chair, mega comfy and not THAT heavy ! My mate has one too and he's a svelte 25 stoner...............:eek:
 
Andy, go for the JRC I have had one for years, and they are light and very stable with the legs out. The new model has lockable legs that wont fold up on you.
