So only x2 weeks ago I did my long awaited Wye trip and boy will I be back there in autumn. I was so keen to get a typical barbel bite however none was fourth coming in the lead. So despite catching x3 on the float in very fast water which was a delight. I'm still left needing the rod tip wrench. So off tomorrow to some great lakes in north Devon hoping the carp will oblige and give me the fix in after. Can't wait to get on the rivers again please never take it forgranted having it on your door step. I'll try and do the same with the sea
