Hooks to nylon recommendations

As above fishing for silvers.
Bewildered to the amount of patterns there are from the likes of kamasan Drennan, Preston etc.My main concern is the mono used.
To be fair the cost isn't massive over a packet of loose hooks and does away with tying my own after years.

Drennan red maggot hooks or carp barbless if you have a barbless rule, both are red hooks and medium wire. I did have a batch a few years ago that opened out too easy but that seemed like a one off. I recently had 18 barbel including two doubles on size 18's whilst fishing for Roach. Though I tie my own to 010 hooklengths.

Yes. Being fine they go through tares easily.
And also the silvers mouth. I have caught spotties over 9lb on them in pushing water.

As Mark says they are fairly soft and can bend. I just bend them back. I rarely go under 14 size perfect for 2/3 maggots or flake.

Mate Neil M uses them often for his
Throop /HA monster chub so that's recommendation enough re the mono.

They are superb grayling hooks.

I use Kamasan B560 which I tie to Silstar Team Match line in 3lb BS. I think you can get them ready tied but I wouldn't know what the line is like. Good for presenting bread flake on a size 12 and you can easily bend them back into shape if you have to pull out of a snag.
