Right place at the right time comes to mind, that said I had another one today at 10lb 8oz, again on the float on Maggot.
Same swim as Saturday on a Bedfordshire VAC water.

Keith, as a fellow lover (but by no means at the same level!) of the trotted maggot method may I enquire as to your mainline / hooklength balance as I find this critical to getting bites and then landing the fish? Incidently I still strive to get a 'double' on the float but will continue to endeaver (and pray)!!!
