Home Made Quiver Tips

Hello,

I know not strictly barbel orientated (more finicky chub), but can anybody share any tips/places to buy so I can make a really sensitive quiver tip?

Any material recommendations also? Never made a tip before before so sorry if this all seems vague and amateurish! :D

Thanks in advance

Vinny

Hi, I customised a pair of my light specimen rods by splicing in solid carbon flick tips (normally for use on a pole) after carefully whipping on eyes etc...I felt they offered the 'right' sensitivity without losing their rigidity. Might be worth a try? Most match orientated shops should sell them. Hope this helps,

Regards, Bryan.

thanks for that, I know what you mean but didn't think of those. I'll take a look at them at the weekend hopefully.

Keep 'em coming guys... :)
