Hi All - thinking of spending a bit of my soon-to-be-banked redundancy money on one of these. However, before I do, I'd like to gauge if they're worth the money.....so does anyone on here own one, or has anyone used one? If so, which (of the three avons) do you prefer, and why? Thanks in advance. :)

Richard, I have the 1lb Avon and have a 1.5lb version being built currently. I have had carp up to 17lb on the 1lb Avon and it was great fun. These rods can certainly bend. If you want to try before you buy, I would be happy to lend you my 1lb version for as long as you need as I won't be needing it for a while now.
