If this is the rod you advertised on Ebay as a GPE Barbus Limited Edition. It isn't.

They were individually numbered and each had a certificate signed by me and limited to 99. about 20 BFW members bought one or two.

They were to be produced only as a 12footer, with my specific colour whippings etc. and built by Ian Tucker on an agreement basis.

Graham i spoke to Ian and told him to make the rod indentical to the g.p.e barbus limited edition only difference is this isn't numbered and in my listing on ebay not once did I mention it was numbered.
 
My rod hasn't got your name on it graham so I don't see what the problem is mate. I'm not trying to sell a rod and make out it is one of your limited edition rods this is my rod made for me to my spec. It's 11ft with indentical styling to one of yours that Ian tucker made for you.

Sorry you feel this way but that's how I had the rod built. I only sold it and described it in the way it was built. The bloke who brought it was happy with it.
 
Surely if the rod is not numbered or signed by the celebrity angler, it is of a different type / build? Some might say in using a rod with someone else's signature on it is anyway pointless, perhaps only to provide the owner some bank side Kudos?

Ok I might get the Dick Walker or Chris Yeates thing but our very own Graham? :D

Ahh the crazy world of celebrity endorsement, what do I know :confused:
