Harrison Torrix 11 ft 2lb for Tench or the 11 ft 1.75lb

Hello All,
Not long joined your wonderful site, hoping to pick the brains of fans of the 11ft Torrix rods and how members think the rods would suit angling for old red eye, the Tench, any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated, sorry if I have gone over ground that has already been covered in the past!

Hi Mark, if you're casting anything over 50yda , I would personally opt for the 2lb, as there really isnt that much in it.
Both have similar playing categories being tippy with plenty of reserve.
But if you're casting up to 40yds the 1.75 would be great.
