Groundbait catapult

Hi, can anyone recommend a catapult that will get 50mm balls of groundbait out to 30yds

Fox method pouch catapult is decent and I'm sure it would put bait out that far.

Drennan.

Either the softee caty or the groundbait caty. Not that sure they're used that much nowadays though. Most matchmen use a large feeder and bait up with that. Or a spomb.

Have a look at the, stonfo maxi ground bait catapult the one with the green handle is what I use

Drennan Feederpult (they do different strengths). Just bought the X-Large (pouch) with strong elastic for the same purpose 30-50 metres. Easy to get replacement elastics for Drennan pults.

I do a lot of float fishing and feeder work using groundbait and I find these great, they will of course do hard as well as softer groundbait. The different elastic does allow for accurate feeding as it states. Spare pouches and elastic easily available.

^^^ I'd wager that the Drennan Softfeed Catapult will not be as accurate at 30m+ as the Feederpult, as it has a wide cup rather than a 'bowl' that's shaped for balls. You can't beat having your balls gently cupped.
