Just picked one of these up for dirt cheap money and very impressed with the action any one else use these rods

I bought a pair of the 11’ 1lb Prodigy TX Specimen rods blind about 6 years ago as I thought I needed some lighter tc rods for perch and roach. I felt the test curve was greatly understated, and there didn’t seem to be much action in the butt section. In comparison they they felt more powerful than than the Harrison 11ft 1.6lb Avon.

I moved them on at a fair loss without ever using them and resolved to never buy a rod blind ever again..

They would be fine for close range tench, chubbing and light barbel I suppose. They just weren’t what I was looking for and expecting.

For the small water barbel fishing I’m doing they suit me spot on but yeah TC definitely under stated
