How would you describe the action of these rods Clive ? I like a sensitive tip with a progressive action. I don't like sloppy through actioned rods or stiff pokers either. My fave off the shelfs are the original Greys prodigy and original daiwa power mesh.

Couldn't agree more Nick, 2lb tc original Prodigy, still my all time fav rod, and yes, i have tried much more expensive Harrisons. :)

The Grauvell rods have always had decent reviews. I'm sure Clive's is a bargain for someone.

They are soft through actioned rods. Been using a couple this season that I picked up on clearance last year. Great playing rod. Have stopped fish to 12lb in the Severn with ease but TC feels like it may be fractionally overstated - I wouldn't throw out big feeders with them.
