This very rare rod is in excellent condition.
The cork handle, rings and whippings are all original.
There is some slight pitting of varnish over the whippings where I picked off pink fluorescent paint from the top 30cm which a previous owner had painted the rod tip with. This is very minor, hardly noticeable and definitely doesn't impact on the usability of the rod.
