Good Tackle shop - Bait shop near Charvil

Looks like I'll finally get my line in the water tomorrow just wondering if any locals know of a good tackle shop in this area....?

Travelling down from Benson, don't really want to deviate too much so need maggots/worms etc within easy reach...

Reading angling centre would probably be your best bet, or there is Woodley tackle which is closer but more carp orientated. Could you go past blakes on the way?

I have no idea I'm afraid I've never been there. Reading angling a maggots have a very reputation with the match boys.

Blakes don't do Maggots or worm, gonna go past Woodley see what they have if not head into Reading, cheers chaps

Steve at Woodley tackle has maggots, worms, etc and knows our waters quite well being a long standing club member himself, he will also give you a discount if you let him know you are one of our members Andrew.

You will get better quality maggots from Reading Angling Centre but you will also pay more for them...
