Just got back from 7 days solid fishing on the severn and wye....whoever said this was a relaxing hobby....near on killed me!

Last day, this morning....conditions better than they've been all week loading the car up to have one final hard slog tredding the banks and my back goes!....could not move or do anything. Me and me mate Bill have to call an end to what as been a very hard weeks fishing. He's been after pike and done quite well but nothing big until he had a single hook straightened by a very big girl....and me quite a few chub including 3 over 5 out the severn, 2 good barbel out the severn that were very hard fished for and 2 sea trout an 2 lost out of the wye. All in all a very different end to thseason that I normally have, only wish I was still out there fishing now as the temps are better than they've been the last few months
