Giant Barbal ?

Good morning folks
Ive been on Facebook at lot recently and started a river teme/photography group.i added a Italain chap called Francesco as a friend.

I was looking through his pictures and came across this....

Is that a giant 25 kg Barbal ?it looks like a grass carp type hybrid.

Hi Paul.

In the U. States they get grass carp to that size. I think Matt Hayes and Brownie caught some on a recent program.

I can't see the barbel link in the picture.

Now, if you had said it was a 10lb plus chub....................
