A few people hve asked me how they can get involved with the protection/improvement of their local rivers and through some web clicking from the Angling Trust website, I came across this:

A great source of information and place for people to gather and get involved with their local rivers, a good starting place would be to click the link which will take you to the EA Water Framework Directive page where you can download a copy of the river basin management plan for your local river.
Have a browse, adopt your river, and make your views heard and join in.........................simples!!
