Frozen rod rings

Well had a few hours on very cold River Dane today. Had no frozen rings as Glycerin worked.

Spot on with the WD 40 George , worked a treat for me today . Tip , do not get WD 40 on fingers when attempting to tie knots !:D

Subject: Ice in one's rings

Thought that you chaps might like to know that I get one of my Lady Guides (or several - they're hardy lasses, coming as they do from half-way up or atop a Ural) to knock (by various means) the troublesome items out of the old agate and straight into a stiff Martini. Works for me and for the Lady Guides; we find that even the worst winter's day fairly flies by.

As ever,

B.B.
