Yes thats a brilliant fish, another well done that angler:)

Hi Thats a Lovely Loddon Barbel, well done, they are still there Crooky and Ian.

Regards Ray Thorpe

Wouldn't deny that Ray, :) i've had 23 of them, 20 at Ch and 3 at Sd, where i didn't fish much this year, but big ones there too and one fish caught by a mate i've never seen before. 19 of the 20 at Ch were doubles, and 1 of the 3 at Sd each caught on one off sessions just taking a break from Ch.

I do think though that the population is declining year by year, i'm not sure if thats because of a natural cycle or not the jury's still out i think.

Congratulations to the captor of that 15.8 lovely fish :)

All the best
Ian.

Ian, I can't believe you are naming strteches on the public section of the board!! :p

:D
Actually being the end of the season i don't think it would hurt.
I think these venues would actually benifit from more fishing them, but out of respect to others i wouldn't, hard fishing or not though, it is lovely peacful fishing :) Those that know the places well will instantly know where i mean. ;)

Ian.
