Ref: Pike Tamers.
I’m tempted to get a pair but have the 10ft ‘e’ class Carp rods which are lovely to use but feel slightly under gunned (more like 2.75’s?) but suit me for the smaller waters i fish. I also have the 12ft Barbel Tamers which again are lovely rods but feel like tank aerials. Again, under gunned (more like 1.5’s). I know the Barbel Tamers are proper thru action so will ‘flop’ a bit but just concerned the Pike rods are going to be similar?
Has anyone used them? I’ve been lucky enough to obtain 2 days (bank fishing) on Chew later in the year and fish the large Lake District lakes a few times each season so want a decent pair of 12ft rods that will do the job without breaking the bank
