Senior Member & Supporter
I thought I would mention this as it may help some one like me lol I bought a as new FOX SPECIALIST BROLLY
when I put it up in my garden its like new bigsmile !
BUT !!!! when I came to collapse it ? I could not see any button to press and I just could not work out how it could fold up after a while I gave up thinking OMG what would I have done down on the bank ?
anyway I phoned a nice man at Fox tackle and he explained oh it does not have any form of catch ! its held up simply by tension only !
you just need to give it a sharp tug down and it folds up !

EASY when you know how eh :D :D

Best brolly i’ve ever bought... and i’ve Had a few ! 😉

Great brolly but I just wish it was more compact so it would fit in my usual quiver!

Then it wouldn’t be the same brolly, it fits fine in my quiver because I’ve got quite a large one, if you’ve got a small quiver, you’re only ever going to get a small brolly in it, and I wouldn’t describe the Fox specialist as a small brolly, for its size I think it’s surprisingly light, it is what it is David ! I’d say get a quiver it’ll fit in ! 😏😀

I had a Drennan 2 rod quiver amnd the brolly compartment was tight, so I changed to a 3 rod one and it's big enough for my 60" Badger or my new 55" Aqua.
