Fox Duo-lite Floodwater rod 2 and 3/4TC

I have seen a couple of these and they look pretty good. A friend of mine has asked me if some the regulars on here have any user feedback of these rods.
He will mostly be fishing the Tidal Trent/Trent, 15lb line, 4-8oz feeders etc.
One thing he was worried about was it being too over gunned on a low and clear river.

Any comments will be greatly appreciated good or bad.

Thanks

Jon

Tony you will have to learn to avert your eyes, if anything other than bamboo ix mentioned.

i brought the 15' one ,for using in actual flood conditions on the trent ,but i've never used it ,as my barbelling has switched too smaller /narrower rivers and sections mostly short stay or roving .i And now i've got the 12' version as it's better suited too my current fishing ,i'm actually selling my 15' version ,its listed on another barbel site (local membership too me) until this friday then it'll be on here .but not had chance too use it yet ,but it'll get used at some point .it does feel well balanced in the hand .probably a little over gunned for really low conditions ,but its all about holding bottom/position ,my fox rod isn't my main rod .i have now a korum 1.75 / 2.2lbs tc rod .its horses for courses with me which means i don't have a "one rod for all " nor am i limited by a rod suitability .but several options too choose from .

if you fish verious conditions ,then get a suitable duel tipped rod or two rods too cover your needs .because if you think your over gunned ,then you probably are !

Fox barbel duo

Hi I have a pair of these rods,as already said they are a little over gunned for normal barbelling when using the 2.75 top section. I usually use them with the quivertip top section, and find them fine, only using the heavier tip when fishing in flood, they will handle anything really,I have no complaints at all,the heavier tip is good for heavier leads or big feeders.
