Just purchased 2 of these rods 2 3/4lb tc,one is the duo,the other is duo lite, apart from the different colours of the blank, whats the difference between them??..........the way this weather is looking they look like a great investment!
If anybodys used these are they ok with say the 5oz tip to use when rivers at normal level,if they are then it looks like the beastmaster barbel xt will soon be making an apearance on ebay :)

I have a couple of the 12' duo's and really rate them for their versatility. I use them in snaggy areas in normal flow with or without the tips and also for carp and pike (without tips). They have even served me well for mullet on hols! Although I know others do not like Fox rods, I have found them to be very reliable and responsive , I also have a couple of the kevlex multitips too as I fish for barbel on both big and small rivers. I always have a duo permanently tackled up in the close season for carp off the top on my local lake and pound for pound this pair are the best value rods I have. Enjoy them!
