Float rods for barbel

Both Shimano rods have been well and truly tested now and I can report that the Aerocast handles multiple barbel, to 11lb 8oz, superbly and can be used happily all day long. It also manages to make catching the smaller roach, dace and perch, that tend to pop up between barbel, a much better experience than the average "power" rod. The Technium DF is nearly as good but not quite. However, it was a fraction of the price second hand. A lot more fun than legering, in the right swim.
