fishing royalty/Parlour july

Hi all, Im travelling down to fish the royalty, having a day in the parlour, and a day with chris holley, whom ive had the pleasure to fish with before. Now having never fished the royalty on my own, what should be my tactics for fishing the parlour? any info/tips highly appreciated!
Cheers

Give Nigel at Davis tackle a call - top man and what he doesnt know isnt worth knowing.

Tip - You will catch eels on meat, feed the mill during the day then fish it at dusk into darkness.

You will see the fish - just make sure they dont see you!!

so would people suggest roving in the parlour, basically only casting to visible fish? or just sitting it out with a couple of rods out? ive also had word of some elusive monster perch in the parlour which I quite fany a crack at!

I would sit it out and get the fish feeding. The parlour is only small so there isnt that much room to rove. I strongly suggest resisting the urge to fish the mill until dusk - i had my biggest barbel from the pool at 9.30pm having fed it all day with hemp and caster. I would fish the garden swim opposite the boards as it has a large hole where the fish congregate mid water and has good cover - you will see them if they are there. Enjoy!
